Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for construction projects.
  • Inspect worksites systematically to ensure standards are met.
  • Determine necessary materials, subcontractors, and labor for projects.
  • Lead pre-construction meetings for effective project planning.
  • Coordinate on-site activities among employees and subcontractors to meet goals.
  • Oversee project buy-out processes, especially for jobs under $5,000.
  • Ensure timely completion of jobs within budget constraints.

Full Job Description
  • Prepare cost estimates, construction budgets and construction schedules.
  • Inspect worksites.
  • Determine material, subcontractor and labor requirements.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings.
  • Coordinate and direct all on-site activities of Camp employees, sub-contractors, craftsmen, tradesmen and vendors to ensure that Camp's goals and standards are met.
  • Buy-out of jobs within an approved construction budget of less than $5,000.00
  • Assist salesman/project manager with buy-out of jobs in excess of $5,000.00.
  • Ensure that jobs are completed on schedule and on budget.
  • Review invoices and timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
  • Travel to remote markets to prepare cost estimates, establish operations, follow local building codes, means and methods.
  • Identify, investigate and select local subcontractors and vendors.
  • Creatively participate in building Camp's success by keeping costs low and quality high. Seek out additional ways to achieve excellence, both personally and corporately

Our Requirements:
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 75%
  • Construction experience required, multi-family preferred
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience in NAV, ProCore, or Sage preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • High sense of urgency
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, including ability to work with a variety of subcontractors
  • High integrity
