Compensation: $60 - $75/hr, depending on experience and qualifications
Drug and background screenings requiredSummary:The Construction Superintendent will act as Owner's Representative and be responsible for the quality and delivery of Hydrogen Fuel Infrastructure Installation Projects (typically at its client's warehouse locations). You will travel to job sites for new installation projects throughout the U.S. (typically with a regional concentration) and provide on-site oversight of construction crews, industrial gas companies, permitting agencies, contractors, and suppliers. You will uphold the schedule of all construction activities on the job site and make changes as necessary. You will coordinate subcontractors, material and equipment, and ensure that site construction work is being completed in a timely manner and within budget. You will work with Industrial Gas companies, permitting agencies, contractors, suppliers, and end-customers. Projects will have demanding schedules, requiring overtime, ability to quickly problem solve and be an advocate for completing projects on time. There may also be breaks between projects, allowing you some extended time off back home before resuming travel to the next project.
Key Responsibilities: - Daily toolbox talks
- Inspection coordination
- Daily reports and photos. Photos must have date and time stamp.
- Ensure contractors are complying with Plug and customer safety requirements
- Thorough quality control to ensure project is installed per construction plans and PID, EID, etc.
- Other functions specific to the project
Qualifications: - 5+ years of relevant on-site / field industrial (or warehouse) construction site Superintendent / Management experience
- Must have the ability to read and interpret blue prints and P&ID's (Piping & Isometric Diagram)
- Ability to travel frequently in the domestic U.S. to customer sites for infrastructure Project Management Activities; up to 100 % of the time
- 30 Hr OSHA Certification
- Familiarity with Swagelok fittings
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in ANY of the following industries required:
- Logistics/Material Handling
- Hydrogen
- Fuel Cells
- Cryogenic Industry
- High Pressure Systems (250 Bar and up)
- Gas processing and/or dispensing equipment
- Oil and Gas, CNG, Client, etc.
