Full Job Description
Construction Scheduling Analyst 3 - Airports, Energy & Infrastructure

Build the schedules that keep airports running.
Join a team delivering complex, high-impact airport, energy, and infrastructure projects across the country, where your schedule analysis directly shapes how multi-million-dollar programs get sequenced and delivered.

The Opportunity
As a Scheduling Analyst 3, you take ownership of schedule updates, logic validation, and quantity-based analysis on large-scale infrastructure projects, primarily airports. You will build and defend your own scheduling work, communicate findings directly to internal teams and clients, and begin mentoring the analysts coming up behind you.

This role is ideal for someone who has moved past learning Primavera P6 and is ready to own the analysis. Someone who spots sequencing conflicts before they become delays and can explain to a client what the schedule is actually telling them.

What You'll Do
Schedule development and execution
  • Build detailed construction schedules using Connico's templates and standards - durations, sequencing logic, and constraints drawn from design documents, client requirements, and construction methodology.
  • Independently create and manipulate work breakdown structures to meet internal, project, and client-specific needs.
  • Contribute to resource- and cost-loading, assign baselines, determine variances, and bring forward recommendations.
  • Develop production rates from historical project data, with growing independence over time.
  • Support phasing and sequencing plans, and contribute inputs to Monte Carlo simulations and risk matrices alongside senior team members.
Analysis and plan review
  • Review architectural, engineering, and civil drawings and specifications to identify sequencing needs, scheduling impacts, and conflicts.
  • Flag gaps, inconsistencies, and phasing challenges - proposing solutions rather than just raising the issue.
  • Develop schedule assumptions, milestone summaries, sequencing notes, and value engineering ideas for client-facing deliverables.
  • Prepare visual schedule outputs and QA reports using P6 exports, Excel, Power BI, and Connico formatting standards.
Collaboration and client engagement
  • Communicate schedule assumptions, progress, risks, and changes clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in schedule review, update, and reconciliation meetings, maintaining accurate documentation and version control.
  • Support the development of Analyst 1s and 2s by reviewing their methods, activity lists, and outputs.
  • Contribute to internal templates, training materials, and sequencing checklists.

What You Bring
Required
  • 3-5+ years of progressive construction scheduling experience, including independent execution of schedule updates and logic reviews.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying, architecture, or a related field - or equivalent working knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications at a ROM level with minimal oversight.
  • Strong command of production rates, WBS development, baseline assignment, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
  • Some travel required: 10-25% (site visits, client meetings, conferences)
Preferred
  • Certification such as PMI-SP, PSP, AACE CCT, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Time Impact Analysis (TIA), EVM reporting, and project controls terminology.
  • Experience performing or contributing to cost and schedule risk assessments (CSRA).
  • Experience with Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC), Power BI, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience contributing to schedules on multi-phase or complex programs.
Sector experience that stands out
Any of the following is a meaningful plus:
  • Aviation
  • Energy: commercial nuclear power generation, green and renewable power generation, power distribution, and power transmission including high voltage
  • Data centers and data infrastructure
  • Government and military scheduling

Why Join Connico
  • Base salary $90,000-110,000 with bonus opportunities (commensurate with experience)
  • Opportunity to work on complex, high-visibility airport, energy, and infrastructure projects
  • Strong culture of collaboration, respect, and technical excellence
  • A clearly defined career path and development support

Work Location Options
Hybrid (T/W/TH in-office):
  • Hebron, KY (Cincinnati area)
  • Mt. Juliet, TN (Nashville area)
Some travel required: 10-25% (site visits, client meetings, conferences)
