Full Job Description
AECOM has an immediate need for an onsite Construction Scheduler to provide scheduling services to support the USACE Jacksonville District at the including Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA) Reservoir project near South Bay, Florida. The Onsite Construction Scheduler is responsible for developing and managing comprehensive construction schedules for the USACE Jacksonville District's EAA Reservoir project. This role involves collecting and analyzing project data, forecasting trends, and proactively identifying scheduling risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using standard planning and scheduling methodologies and software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
• Regularly collect, analyze, and review project data to generate forecasts, variance reports, and progress metrics.
• Identify, anticipate, and report schedule disparities to the project management team, enabling proactive adjustments and timely interventions.
• Facilitate coordination between various project teams by participating in regular project and coordination meetings to discuss scheduling impacts and updates.
• Prepare and disseminate comprehensive schedule updates, progress reports, and documentation to internal and external stakeholders (including USACE representatives).
• Assist in the review and validation of construction schedules, ensuring alignment with project deliverables, budget, and contractual requirements.
• Provide expert advice on scheduling techniques and best practices, enhancing the overall project management process.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field plus four years of related experience.
• Experience in construction scheduling, specifically in large-scale or infrastructure projects.
• Physically capable of walking over rough terrain and standing long periods of time.
• U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with USACE projects and construction protocols.
• Certification in project or construction scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP, AACE CPCS).
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) along with strong analytical and forecasting skills.
• Experience working onsite, including participating in field inspections and progress tracking.
