Job Description

AECOM Hunt is seeking a skilled Construction Scheduler with expertise in Primavera P6 and a strong background in commercial construction to join our dynamic team.

The Construction Scheduler will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. This individual will work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop and maintain detailed schedules, identify potential risks, and drive project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define scope, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Analyze project timelines, identify critical paths, and provide recommendations to mitigate delays.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including schedule variances and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master schedule and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare detailed reports, including Gantt charts, progress updates, and forecasts.
  • Support claims analysis and provide documentation for schedule-related disputes, if necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • BS Construction Management/Engineering, or a related field (preferred) and 6 years of experience in the field of construction scheduling or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and resource management.
  • Familiarity with other scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in aviation, sports, high rise commercial construction.
