Insight Global is looking for a Quality Control Manager to join one of the federal contracting clients in Washington, DC. The individual will be vital part in ensuring all aspects of the construction project meet the required standards and will be supporting a DoD program. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing QC programs, inspecting and reviewing, monitoring materials, coordinating with stakeholders, documentation, training, develop and implement safety policies, conduct inspections, incident investigation, emergency planning, and equipment safety, and compliance. This is a fully onsite position - 5 days a week and may require some weeks of working nights.
Day to day:
• Create and maintain quality control standards for projects
• Conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and project specifications
• Ensure all materials meet required quality standards
• Work closely with project managers, contractors, and engineers to address and resolve quality issues
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities
• Educate construction personnel on QC procedures and best practices
• Ensure that all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations

Required Skills & Experience• 5+ years of experience as a Quality Control Manager and Safety Manager working on federal construction projects
• OSHA 30
• USACE/NAVFAC CQCM certificate
Nice to Have Skills & Experience• ICD-705 training
• Secure office tenant improvement experience
• Security clearance
