Title: Facility Project Manager

Location: New Albany, OH (Onsite)

Duration: 12 months

Compensation: $60 - $80/hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

We're seeking an experienced Facility Project Manager to lead a portfolio of infrastructure retrofit and upgrade projects within a large-scale critical operations environment.

This role is responsible for planning, prioritizing, coordinating, and delivering projects across multiple facilities, ensuring alignment with operational requirements, safety standards, quality expectations, and business objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to execute projects involving electrical, mechanical, controls, and fire/life safety systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and prioritize a portfolio of facility infrastructure projects across multiple operational sites.
  • Coordinate project schedules with ongoing operational, maintenance, and construction activities.
  • Develop project charters, work breakdown structures (WBS), resource plans, and project schedules.
  • Lead project planning and execution efforts, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across operations, engineering, construction, quality, safety, and other stakeholder groups.
  • Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies related to schedule, cost, safety, and quality.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to support project delivery requirements.
  • Support vendor engagement, contract administration, and procurement activities.
  • Oversee commissioning, quality assurance/control (QA/QC), and project closeout activities.
  • Ensure accurate turnover documentation, including record drawings, asset information, and operational manuals.
  • Serve as a key point of contact throughout project planning, design development, and execution phases.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of project management experience in construction, facilities operations, maintenance, infrastructure, or related environments.
  • Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and technical disciplines.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and equipment submittals.
  • Experience developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, controls, and fire/life safety systems.
  • Proficiency with project management platforms such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Procore, e-Builder, or similar tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facilities Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing infrastructure retrofit or modernization programs.
  • Critical facilities, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale operational environment experience.
  • Vendor management and contract administration experience.
  • Familiarity with enterprise maintenance and asset management systems (SAP, Hexagon, or similar).
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve project delivery, reporting, planning, or operational workflows.
  • Demonstrated understanding of responsible AI practices and emerging technologies.
