Full Job Description
Our Construction Project Manager is to support critical facility construction projects. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of managing a data center construction project. This will include engineering management, drawing review across multiple disciplines, construction management, start-up, and commissioning; full life cycle of data center development. Required to provide leadership to contractors and vendors associated with the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously. Project assignments for the most part will be regional; but travel across multiple regions will be required in certain circumstances. Travel = 25-40%. The Construction Project Manager will have overall responsibility for the delivery of assigned projects on budget, on time, and assurance that the project scope and quality meet Company Design Standards and the objectives set for each project. The Construction Project Manager will have to be exceptionally organized and be great with back-office work (change orders, budgets, paperwork driven, Procore, etc). Preference is experience in both Greenfield new builds as well as major phased expansion projects. Responsibilities • Maintain liaison with various contractors and vendors to manage the day-to-day activities that impact the delivery of company's critical facilities construction projects. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in multiple markets. • Manage multi-phased projects to achieve schedule, budget, and quality standards. • Develop and manage RFP's in coordination with Procurement Team. • Deliver Built to Suit projects with a heavy emphasis on value-engineering. • Provide appropriate communication with the project team to reduce constraints between Owner, Design Team, and Contractors. • Ability to focus on evolving designs and changes that A.I. and future developments bring to market. • Drive Company Standards uniformly with Project Delivery by all project participants on all projects. • Manage the financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, equipment, income / expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client(s). • Coordinate and own full project monthly forecasting and budgeting in coordination with Project Controls. • Work in conjunction with Commissioning Manger to ensure projects are started up and commissioned as per company capacity on-line requirements and standards. • Act as key Liaison with managers of all company departments; Cross-functional Champion!
