Full Job Description
Project Managers lead the Project Team in the successful completion of new bridge construction and bridge rehabilitation projects in Michigan. From the initial hand-off from Estimating through final completion and close-out, PM's play a vital role in the Company. Project Managers are responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, and project accounting/control while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards and applicable laws and regulations.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or relevant experience
  • At least five (5) years of Project Management or similar experience on bridge or DOT heavy/highway construction projects
  • Experience working with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is a plus!
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of project budgets, cost control and financial management
  • Significant experience with computers and a variety of construction software
  • Extreme attention to detail
