Full Job Description

Are you ready to lead high-impact construction projects with Plante Moran Realpoint, LLC? We're searching for an energetic professional with hands-on field experience to oversee large-scale initiatives and coordinate a variety of vendors. This Southfield, MI-based position offers dynamic workdays—including 2-3 days each week at client sites in the region and occasional overnight travel (up to 25%)—giving you the chance to shape remarkable outcomes in a fast-paced environment.  

Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Planning of project logistics including vendor contracting strategy, establishing internal team responsibilities and working with clients to develop the overall project structure to achieve their goals.
  • Leading multiple projects of large scope and scale simultaneously.
  • Knowledgeable in legal and financing impacts to project structure
  • Facilitating identification and resolution of project risk factors which can include AHJ requirements, design /engineering management and general construction means and methods. 
  • Managing multiple vendors to their contractual obligations; assist with prioritization of activities
  • Procuring services for construction and supplemental vendors required for complete project execution.
  • Coordinating and monitoring vendor activities for compliance to contractual responsibilities.
  • Coordinating client engagement within overall program, facilitating the decision making process.
  • Monitoring budget, schedule and project risk items; facilitate issue resolution
  • Ensuring implementation and compliance of P&M and PMR policies and procedures on projects including internal reporting
  • Participating and lead team development including mentoring, and coaching on performance


The qualifications.

  • Engineering Degree, Architecture Degree or Construction Management Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 15+ years development, owner’s representation, design or construction fields
  • Experience working for an Owner's Facility Team or as a consultant is preferred. Construction cost estimating experience is desirable.
  • Proficient in MS Word & Excel; Project and/or Primavera Scheduling Software.
  • Qualified individuals must either reside in or near Metro Detroit or be willing to relocate for this opportunity
  • Travel throughout the region, with some overnight travel

This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Please review the position description for the applicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer standardized, market-based starting salaries among individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.

The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00
