Position Summary
Integrity PSC is seeking a mid level Construction Manager to oversee field construction activities for utility scale wind energy projects. This role manages contractor coordination, quality assurance, and day to day site oversight, working closely with project owners, EPC contractors, and utility stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification.
The Construction Manager works with a moderate level of independence, reporting project status and escalating issues to senior project leadership as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day to day construction activities for utility scale wind projects
• Coordinate and monitor EPC contractor performance against project schedule, budget, and quality standards
• Conduct field inspections of turbine foundations, collector systems, substations, and balance of plant work
• Support contract administration, change order review, and progress reporting
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and project specific safety requirements
• Participate in punch list development, commissioning, and project closeout
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to project owners and stakeholders
• Coordinate with permitting, environmental, and interconnection teams as needed
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent field experience
• 5 to 10 years of construction management experience, wind energy project experience preferred
• Familiarity with utility scale construction contracts and EPC oversight
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
Preferred Qualifications
• Direct experience with utility scale wind construction, including turbine erection, collector systems, and substation tie in work
• OSHA 30 certification
• Experience serving in an Owner's Rep capacity
• Familiarity with interconnection and utility coordination requirements
Additional Information
• Travel: Frequent, may require extended stays at project site
• Work Environment: Primarily field based at active wind farm construction sites
• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk uneven terrain, climb structures, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
The pay range for this role is:
98,000 - 110,000 USD per year (Portland, OR)
