About the Role

JDS Energy & Mining is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support mining and industrial projects. This is a site-based FIFO role responsible for overseeing and directing large-scale construction activities. This role leads full-cycle construction management, including planning, execution, contractor oversight, schedule adherence, budget management, and coordination with engineering, procurement, and project controls teams. The Construction Manager ensures that safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently upheld throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all phases of construction from planning through execution and project closeout
  • Provide leadership and direction to site teams, superintendents, and contractors
  • Manage contractor performance to ensure scope, schedule, quality, and safety expectations are met
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and project controls teams
  • Monitor and control project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, project standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all construction activities
