Airswift is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to act as the Owner's Representative on utility-scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. This role is responsible for overseeing EPC contractors, ensuring project delivery aligns with safety, quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
You will play a critical role in project execution from kickoff through commissioning and closeout, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders including landowners, regulatory bodies, and contractors.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Partner with internal and contractor Safety teams to ensure best-in-class safety performance
Act as Owner's Representative, overseeing EPC contractors on utility-scale solar and BESS projects
Manage overall project execution, including schedule, budget, scope, and deliverables
Lead project lifecycle from kickoff through commissioning and closeout
Maintain strong communication with landowners, addressing concerns proactively
Coordinate with DEQ, AHJ, EPC contractors, and other stakeholders on environmental and community matters
Oversee on-site contractors (QC, Safety, Commissioning), approving timesheets and deliverables
Track construction progress, identify risks, and implement schedule recovery plans when needed
Conduct daily safety walks and document/report findings
Review and approve invoices, change orders, and milestones
Ensure QA/QC compliance, minimizing punch list items and driving high-quality delivery
Manage project documentation and reporting using systems such as Procore
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability
