We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate transportation and infrastructure construction projects throughout Stafford County. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with construction drawings, project specifications, budgets, schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards. This role supports transportation engineering projects and Local Assistance Program (LAP) projects and requires strong leadership, communication, and construction management expertise.

Salary Range: $120,000–$180,000, commensurate with experience. Candidates with 8+ years of experience and complex project management expertise may qualify for the higher end of the range.
ResponsibilitiesThe Construction Manager (CM) is expected to have years of experience appropriate to their proposed classification in the management of highway construction projects including considerable knowledge of:

8+ years of experience preferred
