About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced
Construction Manager - PC27 & PC17 / Modular Construction to support a major capital project within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
The Construction Manager will serve as the
Owner's representative responsible for field construction oversight of assigned work packages, with particular emphasis on modular construction execution, manufacturing equipment integration, utility tie-ins, and phased turnover.
The position will provide field leadership and oversight of Construction Management teams and contractors while ensuring safe execution and alignment with project quality, schedule, turnover, commissioning, and readiness objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction Oversight & Governance- Provide Owner-side field construction leadership for assigned PC27 and PC17 work packages.
- Oversee Construction Management and contractor execution activities.
- Monitor field progress, contractor performance, productivity, construction quality, and milestone achievement.
- Support implementation of project construction procedures, execution plans, and turnover strategies.
- Ensure construction activities remain aligned with approved scope, safety requirements, and project commitments.
Modular Construction Execution- Support construction oversight for the project's modular execution strategy.
- Coordinate module receipt, storage, setting, assembly, installation, and integration activities.
- Monitor module completion status and site readiness.
- Coordinate interfaces between modular contractors, site contractors, utility teams, and CQV stakeholders.
- Ensure construction sequencing supports overall project milestones and phased commissioning requirements.
Equipment & Utility Integration- Support integration and installation readiness for the Spray Drying (SDD) manufacturing equipment package.
- Coordinate execution of critical utility tie-ins.
- Manage construction interfaces associated with existing site infrastructure and brownfield conditions.
- Coordinate CSA, MEP, Utilities, Equipment, Operations, and CQV interfaces.
- Identify and escalate field constraints affecting installation or startup readiness.
Safety Leadership- Champion Owner HSE expectations and applicable project safety programs.
- Participate in field safety walks, audits, contractor reviews, and incident investigations.
- Verify contractor compliance with project safety requirements.
- Promote proactive risk identification and mitigation throughout field execution.
Quality, Turnover & CQV Readiness- Partner with Construction Quality Leads to promote first-time-right execution.
- Monitor readiness for mechanical completion and system turnover.
- Support punch-list management and turnover planning.
- Ensure turnover planning is aligned with modular execution and phased commissioning.
- Ensure construction execution supports efficient CQV activities and handover.
Minimum Qualifications- 15+ years of construction experience on large capital projects.
- Experience in Owner, EPCM, or Construction Management oversight environments.
- Strong understanding of construction safety, quality, turnover, and contractor management.
- Experience managing complex multidisciplinary construction interfaces.
- Experience with modular construction or large-scale equipment installation is highly desirable.
- Experience with utility tie-ins and brownfield construction interfaces is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
- English required.
- Spanish strongly preferred.
- OSHA 30 preferred.

- Expected Work Schedule: Approximately 50 hours per week
- Contract Duration: Approximately 1 year with potential renewal
- Travel: Limited; occasional travel to vendor sites may be required
