Full Job Description
Essential Functions:

Achieves financial objectives by assisting with selecting and bidding to qualified contractors; anticipating requirements, submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analyzing variances; writing purchase orders, reviewing and approving invoices. Assures company quality control expectations are met by completing pre-construction, interim, and final inspections including a detailed punch-list(s) at completion of projects. Complies with legal and company requirements by enforcing building codes, following company systems, policies and procedures, maintaining safe and healthy work practices, and monitoring pre-construction and closing inspections, including completion of a detailed punch-list at completion of projects. Improves efficiency of construction process by evaluating construction documents, policies and procedures; and, by recommending and implementing best practice and cost optimization revisions. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as deemed necessary by Facilities Director. Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Allocates program costs by preparing operational and risk reports for analyses. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting and orienting employees. Maintains staff job results by training coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; or participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing determined Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company Plan guidelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred. Other combinations of job related experience and education that meet the requirements may be substituted.

Five years of experience or more preferred; including minimum of two years of management responsibility.

Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
