Construction ManagerASR International is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee construction execution support for 50 CES at Schriever SFB. The role reviews submittals and RFIs, supports progress meetings and payment reviews, investigates modifications, and maintains complete project files. This position is a strong candidate to also serve as Site Lead.

Essential Duties- Independently review technical submittals, RFIs, material proposals, and shop drawings and recommend approval or disapproval (typically within 8 business days).
- Conduct construction progress meetings with contractors and stakeholders during active construction.
- Review contractor progress reports and payment requests (typically within 5 business days).
- Investigate the need for contract modifications, develop or review technical justification, and support cost negotiations within delegated authority.
- Review final as-built drawing packages at closeout.
- Maintain project files including inspection logs, modification documentation, and progress reports using AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and related CE systems.
Minimum Qualifications (per PWS)- Degree in construction management or construction technology; AND
- At least 5 years of extensive construction and/or contract-related experience.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction standards, methods, cost estimating, and facility/pavement/utility systems.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local codes and standard contracting practices.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and automated CE systems (ACES or equivalent).
- Ability to analyze drawings, specifications, SOWs, and material submittals for constructability.
Preferred Qualifications- PMP, CCM, or similar credential.
- DoD construction management experience (Air Force CE, NAVFAC, USACE).
- Prior site-lead or field-office management experience on a federal installation.
