Job Title: Construction Manager
Location: 7400 E. Imperial Highway, Downey CA 90242
Pay Range: $160k-$175k/yr plus benefits
Client: Los Angeles County Department of Public Works
Project Name: LAC Library
Project Duration: 18 months
Anticipated Start Date: August 2026
Project Details (Size, SOW, Site Background, etc.):
Public Works and Library is seeking experienced Project Manager (Level 1)to help manage projects on behalf of LAC Public Library overseeing the day-to-day execution, timeline and delivery of facility alterations and sustainability infrastructure projects, including Solar and EV charging projects. The candidate will champion Library's interests while coordinating with the project team and library staff. The candidate will help identify project risks, troubleshoot and resolve problems to ensure successful outcomes. Candidates are required to have at least 5 years (PM I) of progressive experience in managing municipal infrastructure projects through planning, design, jurisdictional approvals, environmental permitting, construction, and close-out.
