Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience inspecting water and wastewater projects including treatment facilities, pipelines, and pump stations.
• Strong understanding of compliance regulations and standards for construction inspection.
• Proficient in documenting daily activities and contractor performance.
• Ability to effectively communicate with contractors and the public to facilitate operations.
• Experience with traffic control measures and safety compliance on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspect water and wastewater construction projects under a resident engineer's supervision.
• Track and measure contractor activities, documenting completion for payment processes.
• Identify and report non-compliance with project specifications and materials.
• Compile daily inspection logs detailing activities, labor, and equipment used.
• Ensure traffic control and worksite safety standards are adhered to during inspections.
• Coordinate with contractors and the general public to keep construction operations smooth.
