OverviewOur Melville, NY office is seeking Construction Inspectors to work on various roadway and bridge infrastructure projects in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. NICET II minimum or equivalent, with 2 years of experience on similar construction projects. Must have previous NYSDOT experience. OSHA & ACI certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction activities.
- Prepare daily Inspector reports.
- Confirm Contractor quantities.
- Ensure implementation of MPT.
Qualifications
- Diploma or undergraduate degree in Engineering, and/or NICET II certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Certifications/Licenses:
- NICET II
- OSHA and ACI training, preferred.
Compensation: $46.00
Base pay offered for this New York 64based role may vary and can be higher or lower depending on the candidate 27s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
