Job Overview:

Construction Project Manager - ARB, Inc.

ARB, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for both ongoing and new EPC industrial construction projects at various job sites in the Greater Los Angeles Basin. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the successful construction, execution, and completion of energy infrastructure projects. This individual will also ensure that projects are managed and completed in a safe, reliable, quality, timely, and cost-effective manner from pre-construction through final completion.

Responsibilities
  • Drawing on your industrial construction experience, you will drive efficiency, uphold quality standards, and manage schedules and budgets to ensure successful project execution and delivery
  • Ensure that safety is the number one priority.
  • Develop and manage the customer relationship during the project lifecycle with the goal of collaborating, serving, and building a mutual and trusting relationship.
  • Lead and ensure the upfront planning of the project. Will manage and ensure the development of and the adherence to the design and construction schedule with the project team.
  • Manage and own all financial aspects of the project while coordinating financial reporting with Project Controls.
  • Manage, own, and control the administration of the contract between the customer and the company.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure proper procurement of equipment and materials.
  • Review all engineering adjustments and design changes for commercial impacts.
  • Ensure that growth and skill development is occurring for all project team members and their respective engineering and construction disciplines on and off the project.
  • Communicate, collaborate, and update leadership on safety, quality, schedule, budget, risks & opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise; evaluate alternatives, propose solutions and gain team buy-in from engineering, customer, and stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for compliance with corporate policies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management program, or similar discipline from a four-year college or university.
  • Commensurate GC/EPC experience spanning years of engineering, estimating, management and construction work proving technical and leadership competencies.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of P6 & Microsoft Project scheduling platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring of future leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills (tact, diplomacy, and influence).
  • Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable codes and specifications in heavy industrial construction
  • Ability to navigate through corporate and industry practices and standards.
  • Profound business management skills, ability to run the project as an enterprise.
  • Travel flexibility is required.

Annual salary range of $145-185k commensurate with education, skills and experience
