JOB SUMMARY

We're looking for candidates based in the Permian or Delaware basin areas, or willing to relocate.

The Construction Coordinator supports pipeline project delivery within the Natural Gas Gathering & Processing business by planning, coordinating, and driving projects from start to finish. This role partners closely with Operations, cross-functional teams, and third-party contractors to achieve safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives while building strong, trust-based relationships. Responsibilities include managing project schedules and budgets, overseeing contracts and purchase orders, and ensuring all work aligns with agreed terms. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of pipeline project management experience in the midstream or oil and gas industry, along with strong communication skills and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Develop, coordinate, implement and oversee various levels / more complex construction and maintenance project plans in their entirety and monitor project status and modify when needed to ensure timeliness and quality of projects is consistent with company standards
  • Identify and select resources such as inspection, equipment, contractors and material procurement required to coordinate projects
  • Direct, monitor and schedule contractors, inspectors and employees in construction and maintenance activities of pipeline construction, processing plants, storage facilities, terminals, gathering and/or transmission systems and appurtenances including but not limited to:
    • Measurement facilities
    • Plant process equipment and controls
    • Pipeline facilities; above and below grade
    • Purchasing and materials
    • Corrosion control
    • Leakage survey
  • Direct and monitor installation and/or maintenance of plant and pipeline equipment and facilities including but not limited to:
    • Meter/regulator settings
    • Tapping/pressure control equipment
    • Storage tanks/scrubbers/dehydrators
    • Pressure tests (air, gas, water)
    • Evaluate and recommend whether to repair or replace pipe and appurtenances
  • Ensure contractors' compliance with safety, quality, competency and performance standards. Provide feedback to ensure company standards are being followed
  • Provide information, recommendations, consultation and/or assistance to customers, contractors, inspectors, city/county/state officials, employees, management and others relative to company activities, policies and procedures
  • Compile, prepare and/or verify information including but not limited to:
    • Operating activities
    • Completion reports
    • Accident reports
    • Work orders
    • Various budget recommendations
    • Customer correspondence
  • May train other employees at various levels
  • Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.
