Full Job Description
Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include:

Coordinate complex construction projects, maintenance orders or assigned scopes from the conceptual design stage through project completion and financial closing to ensure safety, quality, technical baseline, budget, schedule, and site procedures and goals are established, implemented and managed. Interface with facility management, construction management, and other internal customers for work scope development, estimate development, estimate approvals, and construction planning.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least five years of experience (YOE) in a relevant role, OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least two years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field
• Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered

Discipline Description

Construction coordination personnel collaborate with project managers on the development and review of project plans, estimates, costs, contracts, schedules, and resources. They develop and implement project controls and monitoring procedures to ensure the achievement of project scope, schedule, and cost objectives. They collect, analyze and report on project data and costs from various stakeholders (e.g., engineering, procurement, construction, and accounting).

Job Family Description

Project management personnel plan, monitor and manage internal projects from initiation through completion. Program management personnel manage programs responsible for the execution of multiple projects or sub-projects. They secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes. They manage projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.

Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) is a joint venture between Fluor Corporation, Newport News Nuclear and Honeywell, responsible for the management and operations of the Department of Energy's Savannah River Site. The Savannah River Site is a nuclear reservation in South Carolina that was built during the 1950s to refine nuclear materials for the US nuclear weapons program. Today, the site is used for nuclear materials management, environmental management, and nuclear energy research and development.
