The Role:As a Finance Consolidations Analyst at QXO, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's consolidation, financial reporting, close, and accounting governance processes. This position will work closely with Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, Tax, FP&A, and business finance teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial information across the organization.
The role is ideal for an accounting professional with a strong foundation in financial reporting, consolidations, account reconciliations, and financial data analysis. Over time, this individual will become a key contributor to the preparation of consolidated financial results, intercompany accounting, legal entity reporting, and the governance of financial reporting structures.
What you'll do:
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including consolidation activities and financial reporting requirements.
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial results across multiple legal entities and business units.
- Maintain and support chart of accounts structures, reporting hierarchies, and financial reporting mappings to ensure consistent reporting across the organization.
- Perform reconciliations and validation procedures to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial data used in reporting and consolidation activities.
- Partner with Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, Tax, and FP&A teams to support reporting requirements and resolve data and reporting issues.
- Support intercompany accounting processes, investment eliminations, consolidation adjustments, and legal entity reporting activities.
- Assist with accounting related to acquisitions, legal entity restructurings, and other complex corporate transactions.
- Own and execute SOX controls related to financial reporting, account reconciliations, and financial data governance.
- Prepare schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation for internal and external auditors.
- Identify opportunities to improve close, consolidation, reconciliation, and reporting processes through automation, standardization, and enhanced controls.
- Investigate and resolve reporting variances, reconciliation differences, and financial data integrity issues in partnership with Accounting and Finance leadership.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from key stakeholders across the organization.
What you'll bring:
- Strong accounting foundation with experience in Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, Consolidations, Audit, Controllership, or related finance functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CPA-track candidates strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-entity organizations and consolidated financial reporting processes.
- Solid understanding of consolidation accounting, including intercompany accounting, eliminations, legal entity reporting, and business combination accounting concepts.
- Experience performing account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial statement support activities.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial reporting governance.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyze, reconcile, and validate large volumes of financial data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, and external auditors.
- Experience supporting financial reporting and consolidation platforms is a plus.
- Public accounting experience, particularly Big 4 or national firms, is highly desirable.

Salary Range:
