Position Description: We are looking for a dynamic and curious finance professional to join our Corporate Accounting consolidation team in Montreal.
As Consolidation Manager, you will lead a team of financial analysts and oversee key consolidation processes, statutory financial reporting for Canada and the U.S., bank and intercompany reconciliations, and treasury flow-of-funds activities. You will collaborate with accounting policy, FP&A, tax, treasury, legal, and other corporate teams while contributing to legal merger integrations and continuous improvement.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Lead a team of financial analysts and ensure accurate, timely reporting in accordance with IFRS.
• Coordinate statutory financial statement preparation and filings for Canada and the U.S.
• Support accounting activities related to legal entity structures and legal mergers.
• Supervise bank reconciliations and resolution of significant discrepancies.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations, billing, and related payments.
• Coordinate accounting for treasury and tax cash transactions, including flow of funds and dividends.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Contribute to M&A activities, business combinations, financing initiatives, and other special projects.
• Identify and lead process improvements to strengthen reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with tax, treasury, FP&A, legal, accounting, and other stakeholders.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• CPA designation or equivalent and 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of consolidated and statutory financial statements.
• Experience with intercompany controls, bank reconciliations, statutory filings, and treasury flow of funds.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in French and English.
• Curious, hands-on mindset with a strong sense of ownership and continuous improvement.
Assets
• Experience with Hyperion and PSA.
• Experience with M&A, legal mergers, or business combinations.
• Experience in a large, global organization with multiple legal entities.

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000-$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
