Job Description

This exciting role as a Configuration Specialist III in our Configuration group will work as part of a team to support and configure our Wire and Cable software for our customers. This role focuses on:
  • UI based configuration elements of the Implementation
  • More technical elements of the Implementation which will require knowledge of SQL and authoring of data collection forms using XML
  • Supporting our customers and relationship building


Responsibilities

Consultancy and Configuration
  • Provide support to existing clients including report generation at critical times of the year
  • Advise and assist the client in maintaining and enhancing their application
  • Configure the system as per the defined requirements using the system user interface
  • Work with technical teams to resolve system and configuration issues
  • Attend customer meetings and calls as and when required in support of larger implementation project, ensuring a professional image at all times
  • Provide status updates, highlight risks and issues to supervisor (within the project and/or people manager)


Dedicated Consultancy
  • Advise and assist the client in maintaining and enhancing their application
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key customers


Technical Configuration
  • More technical elements of the Implementation which will require knowledge of SQL, JavaScript and authoring of data collection forms using XML
  • Build and maintain custom forms using XML/SQL build scripts


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience required
  • Strong academic background in a relevant discipline e.g. computer science, engineering, sustainability or equivalent also a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A high level of numeracy
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel required
  • Detail-oriented and analytical thinking
  • Familiarity with web-based applications
  • Ability to learn new software applications rapidly
  • Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills as this is a customer-facing role
  • Experience with relational databases and use of SQL
  • Working knowledge of XML is ideal
  • Experience in software implementation and / or support, a plus.
  • Previous experience working in teams for project delivery, a plus
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role, a plus


What We Offer:

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000. USD to $90,000. USD and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary.

This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday and personal days (totaling 12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
