Description

RiVidium Inc. is seeking a Senior Configuration Manager to support Army Cyber and Space SETA product operations and provide configuration management leadership within a fast-paced DevSecOps environment. The selected candidate will oversee and coordinate software and hardware baseline management activities, support product release and fielding operations, and ensure disciplined configuration control across program management, engineering, test and evaluation, cybersecurity, logistics, and vendor teams.

This role requires a highly organized and mission-focused professional capable of supporting government-facing deliverables, maintaining configuration integrity throughout the product lifecycle, and driving configuration management best practices in support of Army cyber and space mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support configuration management activities for hardware and software platforms, beta releases, patches, product distributions, and associated technical documentation.
  • Participate in and support configuration audits, fielding activities, and baseline verification efforts to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of software baselines for each system.
  • Perform software management, configuration management process audits, and procedural compliance reviews.
  • Oversee baseline identification, product documentation preparation, documentation control, and configuration status accounting activities.
  • Support the prime vendor and government stakeholders in developing, refining, and implementing hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Support Configuration Control Board (CCB) operations, coordinate change request (CR) workflows, and validate CR submissions for completeness, traceability, and readiness for review and approval.
  • Coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, logistics, testing, and program management teams to maintain configuration integrity throughout development and release cycles.
  • Mentor junior configuration management personnel and provide guidance on configuration management processes, standards, and best practices as required.
  • Utilize Jira, Confluence, and related DevSecOps/Agile toolsets to track configuration items, release activities, documentation status, and change actions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience in configuration management, software management, product operations, release management, or similar technical program support functions.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting configuration audits, baseline control, product documentation management, release coordination, and change management processes.
  • Ability to work effectively across program management, engineering, test and evaluation, cybersecurity, logistics, and vendor stakeholder groups.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, documentation, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within DevSecOps and Agile development environments, including SAFe methodologies.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and related Agile/DevSecOps collaboration tools.
  • Experience supporting Agile, SAFe, DevSecOps, release management, configuration control, or software product operations environments.
  • Familiarity with Army, DoD, cyber, or space mission programs and SETA support environments.
  • Experience supporting Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), software release management, and enterprise baseline management activities.
