Configuration Manager - Lead (Fully Remote)
JOB DESCRIPTIONClient is in search of an experienced Configuration Management - Lead to support our IRS customer. Location: Fully Remote
Salary: $100k
Responsibilities: - Lead a small team responsible for all aspects of configuration management of a software development project
- Provide configuration management support to include code versioning and coordination of application transmittals across the various environments
- Coordinate the integration and deployment of multiple development teams' software/code to consolidate for test/production environment installation and/or testing
- Participate in the planning, scheduling, and installation of software
- Interface with system administrators to debug software deployment issues
QUALIFICATIONS - Must be familiar with Agile Software Development and working with a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Pipeline
- Must have a deep understanding of Configuration Management Principals and be comfortable supporting CM in a complex software development environment
- Must have experience with:
- Linux
- Git
- Maven
- Jenkins
- Nexus
- SonarQube
- Rational Tools
Experience: - A min. of 4 years of Configuration Management experience
- Must be experienced with Java builds and deployments
- IRS experience is a preffered
Clearance Requirement: - Must have ability to obtain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)
- Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and employment is based on the ability to attain Minimum Background Investigation clearance.
