Amentum is seeking a Configuration Manager to support the Trojan Net Ops Program in Fort Belvoir, VA.

You don't just manage technical assets—you bridge the gap between technical precision and human impact, ensuring that the teams on the front lines have the stable, secure, and compliant tools they need to serve effectively.


Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for all aspects of Configuration Management.
  • Responsible for configuration management planning, including organizing audits of the IT infrastructure and identifying unauthorized CIs.
  • Ensures only approved and validated changes are implemented.
  • Prepares configuration documentation and maintains Configuration Management (CM) database.
  • Prepares reports and Management information, including impact analysis reports and Configuration status reports.

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field, and at least 4 years of configuration management experience
    • Or a High school diploma/GED, and at least 8 years of configuration management experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively interface with military officials, managers, and subordinates.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk; handle or feel objects; and write. Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Current Security+ certification

       

Compensation Details:

$110,000 - $120,000
