Full Job Description
Responsible for configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems. Works on developmental and operational teams to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) supporting developmental and operational systems. Uses or recommends automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures. Develops or modifies CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system. Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life. Perform change control and configuration audits. Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph). Capabilities 3 Assist in implementing hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures. 3 Utilize configuration management tools (e.g., MadForge, Eclipse) to store, track, and manage configuration items. 3 Demonstrate understanding of fundamental concepts and experience in documenting hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures. 3 Implement hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures. 3 Support the maintenance and development of environments for hardware and software product build, staging, testing, and integration. 3 Define and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures, including the creation of product build scripts and integration of those scripts into the build process. 3 Maintain the configuration management (CM) environment for product build, staging, testing, and integration activities. 3 Develop and enforce hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures across development projects. 3 Apply configuration management principles to define and implement processes, including creating and integrating product build scripts within hardware and software build environments. 3 Serve as an advisor to, or non-voting member of, the Government Change Control Board (CCB). Required Qualifications 3 TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly 3 Six (6) years of experience in configuration management and version control on programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity 3 Bachelor3s degree in technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university (or four (4) additional years of CM experience in lieu of degree) The Benefits Package 3 Wyetech believes in generously supporting employees as they prepare for retirement. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
