Context
Systra is hiring for a Configuration Lead, reporting to Systems Engineering Manager for a Rail Project in Ontario.
Missions/Main Duties
- Establish and manage the configuration management framework for Integration & Assurance;
- define baselines for requirements, designs and key configuration items;
- administer change control boards, including recording, assessing and tracking changes;
- ensure configuration status accounting is maintained and transparent;
- coordinate with CDE, design and requirements teams to keep configuration data aligned and auditable.
Profile/Skills
- University degree in Engineering, Information Management or related discipline; 8+ years9 experience in configuration management on complex engineering projects (preferably rail / transit);
- Relevant professional designation or training in configuration management (e.g., CMII or equivalent);
- P.Eng considered an asset
- proven experience setting up and operating configuration control processes, baselines and change management;
- familiarity with CDEs, requirements and design tools and their interactions;
- strong documentation and coordination skills.
