Configuration Management Specialist Configuration Management Specialist IVNASA Glenn Research CenterBrook Park, OhioHX5 is currently seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to join our team in Brook Park, Ohio in support of the GEARS contract at NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide configuration management and data management (CM/DM) support to the Space Nuclear Propulsion-Technology Maturation (SNP-TM) project. The selected candidate will interface and coordinate with the SNP-TM personnel at Marshall Space Flight Center, the owner of CM for the SNP-TM Project. This support will include:
- Maintain a SNP-TM project document repository and control access for the project team members and project stakeholders.
- Serve as an SNP-TM Materials Characterization Working Group (MCWG) coordinator.
- Maintain effective controls and tracking of applicable/latest revision or version for project data & system components, project specifications, system software, engineering & project documentation.
- Coordinate publication and collaboration of documentation and changes.
- Organize data to facilitate ease of access and retrieval for project team members and management decision-making process.
- Support various project reviews (Requirements Readiness, Preliminary Design, Critical Design, Flight Readiness, etc.) using agreed to repositories for relevant data for access availability for all review members.
- Ensure that all project documents are version-controlled maintained, tracked and archived within the agreed to systems. SharePoint should be the primary repository for documentation.
- Create project repositories and libraries for all project configuration items.
- Provide Data Retention and Storage for the project.
- Coordinate project meetings including engineering & project meetings, manufacturing meetings, change control boards and archive meeting minutes.

Education/Experience:- Bachelor's or master's degree and 5-10 years of experience
- High school diploma or equivalent and 15 years of experience.
Other Position Requirements:- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
