Position Duties & Responsibilities- Maintain and validate configuration data, baselines, change records, and CM documentation supporting data center environments.
- Perform periodic CMDB reconciliation; investigate and close configuration drift.
- Support the Configuration Manager on CCB submissions and audit responses.

QualificationsRequirements - Currently possess or be able to obtain VA Public Trust - High Risk (BI High) / Tier 4 background investigation.
- Bachelor's in a technical or IT field; 5+ years of CM or CMDB analysis experience.
- Education substitutions (per Peraton Career & Compensation Framework): Master's degree substitutes ~2 years of required experience; Ph.D. substitutes ~5 years of required experience. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience is acceptable (Associate's degree + 2 additional years also accepted for equivalent professional levels).
Desired Skills, Tools & Certifications - Tools: ServiceNow CMDB and Change modules, Nlyte, Git, SharePoint, and MS Project.
- Processes: ITIL v4 service management, SAFe Agile / Scrum for iterative delivery, NIST 800-53 / RMF, ISO 27001, TIA-942, ASHRAE TC 9.9, VA CRISP alignment, NFPA 70/70E, and OSHA safety practices.; ITIL v4 SACM practice.
- Certifications (desirable): ITIL v4 Foundation, ServiceNow CIS-CMDB / CIS-ITSM, PMI-PMP, CMPIC or CM2 certifications.

Target Salary Range$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
