ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We're hiring a Configuration Analyst II to support a cutting-edge defense program. In this role, you'll help manage and maintain the technical data and change control processes that ensure engineering designs are accurate, documented, and properly tracked through the product lifecycle.
What You'll Do:
- Support CM activities across design, development, and production phases
- Manage and track changes to approved configurations using structured change processes
- Maintain engineering technical data packages (TDPs)
- Apply CM standards and processes in accordance with the program's CM Plan
- Assist with CM and quality audits
- Solve moderate-scope problems using company procedures and guidance
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years experience in configuration management with an Associate's Degree or 4+ years of direct Configuration Management experience
- Strong computer skills, especially with MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Detail-oriented with strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Experience using databases and working in document control environments
Bonus If You Have:
- Prior experience with DoD programs or government contracting
- Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-31000, EIA-649, or ASME Y14.24/Y14.100
- Formal training in Configuration Data Management (CDM)
- Hands-on experience with BOMs, Oracle ERP, MS Access, or advanced Excel formulas
- Exposure to CMMI environments
