Compute Engineering Operations Advisor
This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
Job Description:
HPE's Compute Engineering team is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and highly organized professional to serve as a Compute Engineering Operations Advisor. In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted partner to the SVP of Compute Engineering, supporting strategic initiatives, communication, and operational excellence. You will coordinate cross-functional efforts, enhance organizational processes, and help drive large-scale transformations-ensuring our engineering teams operate at peak efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic counsel and executive support to the SVP of Compute Engineering.
• Manage high-level communications, presentations, and executive materials.
• Partner with engineering, product management, and leadership teams to align planning, budgeting, and operational activities.
• Establish governance frameworks for leadership meetings, decision follow-up, and accountability.
• Lead initiatives around organizational redesign, process improvements, and strategic planning.
• Develop KPIs and metrics; analyze data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Support organizational readiness, operating models, and cost management programs.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and escalations to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
Travel: 0-15% as needed to support initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• 7+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or related fields; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Proven track record supporting senior leadership and managing strategic initiatives.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence across teams and manage multiple high-stakes projects.
• Experience in organizational transformation, governance, or process optimization a plus.
