Pay: $130,000 - $140,000
1. PV1 Pharmacist (Primary Intake & Clinical Review) Focus: Upfront prescription accuracy, clinical screening, and provider relations.
- What you'll do: Review incoming prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, therapeutic crossovers, and formulation feasibility.
- Key responsibility: Act as the first line of defense in quality assurance; proactively contact providers for clarifications on complex or off-label compounding formulations.
2. PV2 Pharmacist (Final Product & Verification) Focus: Final product verification, technology-driven workflow management, and logistics.
- What you'll do: Manage high-volume verification queues using barcode verification systems and electronic health records.
- Key responsibility: Perform the final clinical and technical check on completed compounds, ensuring absolute labeling precision, safety, and regulatory compliance before medication release.
3. Compounding & Production Pharmacist Focus: Lab oversight, USP compliance, and technician mentorship.
- What you'll do: Supervise cleanroom and non-sterile lab workflows, verify calculations for batch records, and ensure stringent adherence to USP , , and standards.
- Key responsibility: Guide pharmacy technicians through structured compounding protocols and troubleshoot equipment, formulation, or raw material variables.
What We Look For (Requirements) - Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited institution.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of Kansas or Missouri (dual licensure is a major plus, or a willingness to obtain reciprocity).
- Attributes: High attention to detail, a compliance-forward mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: While compounding experience (sterile or non-sterile) or familiarity with software like Pestle Rx, Compounder Rx, or Lifefile is preferred, we are open to speaking with individuals with other backgrounds.
