In this role, you work at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing, applying your electrical engineering knowledge to support product integrity across the full lifecycle-from design through sustainment.
What you'll do- Partner with electrical and mechanical engineers to select components that meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements
- Analyze Bills of Materials to verify part accuracy, lifecycle status, and sourcing strategy
- Review schematics and design documentation to understand component function within circuit designs
- Perform component and Bill of Materials reviews to identify obsolete, non-preferred, or high-risk parts and recommend qualified alternates
- Maintain component records and approved alternates within internal databases
- Track manufacturer change notices and end-of-life risks and support mitigation planning
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to prevent production or sustainment disruptions
- Support component testing, evaluation, and technical impact assessments for substitutions
- Assist with export control and tariff classifications for electronic components
- Contribute to process improvements, including automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools
What you need- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 1-3 years of hands-on work experience in component engineering, electrical hardware engineering or electronic product development. engineering experience
- Knowledge of electronic components, electrical design fundamentals, and circuit behavior - required
- Ability to interpret schematics and Bills of Materials - required
- Experience with component lifecycle management or product development - preferred
- Familiarity with obsolescence management and alternate sourcing - preferred

Salary Range: $78,300 - $102,000Salary Range: $58,700.00-$78,300.000
