As a Compliance Testing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, conducting and reporting compliance controls testing engagements. As a Compliance Testing Manager, you will ... • Manage and conduct the annual managing general agent (MGA) compliance review survey, onsite controls testing, and audits • Analyze and review information according to standard survey criteria, identify gaps, verify content for quality and compliance; draft observations/ findings and recommendations • Understand regulatory requirements and ivari policies to ensure testing is designed to identify potential control gaps and non-compliance • Conduct controls testing, scoping, sampling, and reporting of test results • Prepare and distribute results detailing findings and recommendations • Track and report the status of remediation and validation of open issues • Examine documents to verify content, compliance, and identify anomalies • Conduct market conduct and sales practice reviews of life insurance agents • Assist the Compliance team with other tasks as may be required by senior manager What we are looking for... • Post-secondary education that would align with the position • Must have audit and accounting designation, CPA, CMA, CGA, CIA or its equivalent. • Minimum 7 years' experience in controls testing or internal audit • Technical knowledge and skills of testing processes and methodologies • Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities • A self-starter who takes initiative, is detail oriented, and deals well with ambiguity • Good verbal and written communication skills • An ability to work independently and proactively • French language is an asset What we pay...
