Full Job Description
Compliance Manager
Location: Athol, MA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Salary: $100- $120k

Position Summary
The Compliance Manager oversees the credit union's compliance and regulatory programs, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This position serves as the primary compliance resource, acts as the designated BSA Officer, supports audits and examinations, manages vendor due diligence, and works closely with leadership, the Board, and the Audit Committee.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance with federal and state regulations, internal policies, and BSA/AML requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update policies and procedures.
  • Conduct compliance research and prepare reports, documentation, and recommendations.
  • Review marketing materials, website content, disclosures, and member communications for regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate internal audits, external audits, and regulatory examinations.
  • Track audit findings and ensure timely corrective action.
  • Manage vendor due diligence, risk assessments, and documentation.
  • Support the Board of Directors and Audit Committee through reporting, meeting coordination, and compliance tracking.
  • Assist with financial, liquidity, and operational reporting.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
