Requirements

REQUIREMENTS TO QUALIFY:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited* college or university in accounting or a closely related field**, including 21 semester units or 31.5 quarter units of accounting courses, including a course in auditing -AND-
OPTION I: Two years of professional auditing experience at the level of the County class of Intermediate Accountant-Auditor***.

OR
OPTION II: Three years of professional accounting experience****.

LICENSE:
A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.

PHYSICAL CLASS:
Physical Class 2 - Light: This class includes administrative and clerical positions requiring light physical effort that may include occasional light lifting to a 10-pound limit and some bending, stooping, or squatting. Considerable ambulation may be involved.
