THE LEGAL TEAMThe Legal and Risk Management team is responsible for all legal and legal-related matters such as litigation, contracts, compliance, and driving record policies. This is a diverse, complex, and often unpredictable portfolio of challenges.
ABOUT THE ROLEThe Compliance Analyst is a key role supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of the company's compliance program. The role is responsible for researching regulatory requirements and organizing program activities in support of the development of a compliance culture at the company. This Compliance Analyst position demands strong legal analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication.
- As a key part of the Compliance team, coordinate the day-to-day execution of the compliance plan, executing onboarding activities, assisting with risk assessments, and tracking strategic priorities.
- Facilitate the implementation of internal risk assessments including the collection and organizing of sensitive information related to enterprise-wide, and department business processes
- Analyze, review and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations, such as new best practices, processes, tools, and resources necessary to address or remediate identified compliance risks
- Conduct legal research of regulatory requirements and best practices applicable to various corporate departments and business teams on an enterprise-wide basis
- Engage with key stakeholders (e.g., legal, IT, finance, HR, compliance, operations) in a professional manner to ensure ongoing communication and alignment on compliance objectives
- Translate complex legal compliance requirements and rules into clear communications and guidance for teams working to develop internal compliance processes and procedures.
- Support the compliance process by developing tools and resources necessary for the monitoring of compliance program activities.
- Assist and help develop compliance training and education throughout the organization in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Interact with government, oversight agencies and third-party organizations to identify resources and tools for creation of an inventory of compliance requirements.
- Coordinate and track compliance requirements consistently with corporate policies, enterprise-wide initiatives, and business needs.
- Create reports, documentation, and certifications summarizing overall compliance activities and specific compliance metrics across the company
- Stay ahead of regulatory trends in order to advise compliance management and leaders on evolving compliance requirements.
- Act ethically within the scope of company's core policies and the law as it pertains to compliance matters

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAny combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education and Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 1-3 years of corporate compliance or related experience with a Bachelor's degree; and either a Master's degree or Professional degree with an emphasis in law, business or compliance; or equivalent experience.
