As a Director of Group Sales, you're not just driving the hotel's group revenue strategy - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
  • Shape and execute group sales strategy: Oversee the hotel's group sales efforts, aligning team priorities and initiatives with annual revenue goals for group rooms and banquets; contribute to the hotel's annual commercial strategy in partnership with commercial and regional leadership teams
  • Drive commercial performance: Develop and implement business strategies that contribute to Rooms, Catering, and Event revenue streams, ensuring alignment with the hotel's broader commercial objectives
  • Set and optimize pricing approach: Collaborate with commercial leadership to establish group pricing and rate strategies that maximize revenue and competitive market share
  • Develop data-driven sales strategies: Use performance metrics, demand forecasts, and competitive insights to shape sales plans, adjust deployment and mix strategies, and align activity with revenue goals and market conditions
  • Foster stakeholder relationships: Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention and Visitors Bureaus (CVBs), third-party travel partners, and key clients to drive demand, improve conversion, and support high-impact site visits and pre-convention meetings
  • Lead business reviews and planning: Facilitate regular strategy and performance meetings while contributing to long-range commercial planning through analysis of performance trends, market shifts, and revenue opportunities
  • Cultivate a high-performing team: Recruit new talent while driving team growth and engagement through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs
