Full Job Description
The Work

  • Data Gathering: Research competitors and market trends using various tools and AI-assisted search and summaries to help build assessments of competitor bid strategies.
  • Price to Win (PTW) Assistance: Support senior analysts in modeling "Price to Win" scenarios and helping to determine the "sweet spot" needed to beat the competition.
  • Growth Path: As you become comfortable with the data, you will begin to contribute to strategic assessments and eventually assist in preparing briefing materials for leadership.
  • Numeracy: You don't need to be a mathematician, but you should be "good with numbers," comfortable managing data in Excel and interested in AI automation of repetitive tasks.
  • Curiosity: You have a natural interest in figuring out how other companies operate, how we can stay ahead of them, and how we can leverage AI tools to keep track of their strategies.
  • Self-Starter Mentality: You're the type of person who looks for the answer first before asking for help, and you take pride in the accuracy of your work.
  • Communication: You can explain your findings clearly and are interested in eventually developing the skills to present to senior stakeholders.

What you need:
  • 2-4 years of experience working in an analytical, pricing, financial, proposal, research, or data-driven support role.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience using Excel to manage datasets, perform calculations, and build basic analytical models.

Bonus if you have
  • Experience supporting proposals, RFPs, pricing analyses, or competitive assessments in a business or academic setting.
  • Familiarity with "Price to Win" concepts or exposure to competitive intelligence frameworks.

  • Experience using data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Exposure to automation tools or scripting (e.g., Power Automate, Python, or AI-based workflow tools).
  • Understanding of cost modeling, market research techniques, or financial analysis.
  • Ability to translate analytical findings into concise slides or briefing materials for leadership.
  • Interest in developing presentation skills for future stakeholder or leadership briefings.
