Summary

The Compensation & HR Reporting Analyst serves as AOI's subject matter expert in compensation analysis, workforce analytics, executive reporting, and HR data strategy. This role partners with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT and executive leadership to develop competitive compensation programs, maintain internal equity, and provide meaningful workforce insights that support strategic business decisions.

The successful candidate will possess advanced experience supporting compensation within a manufacturing environment and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. This position transforms complex ADP Workforce Now data into executive dashboards and reporting that simplify workforce metrics for leadership while supporting compensation strategy, salary administration, workforce planning, and organizational growth.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead compensation analysis for promotions, market adjustments, merit increases, transfers, and new hire offers.
  • Review/edit internal job descriptions to ensure compensation alignment to market
  • Conduct manufacturing compensation benchmarking and salary surveys.
  • Maintain salary structures, pay grades, and compensation guidelines.
  • Perform internal equity, pay compression, and market competitiveness analyses.
  • Develop executive dashboards and HR metrics using ADP Workforce Now data.
  • Create recurring reports for headcount, turnover, compensation, overtime, hiring, retention, labor costs, and workforce trends.
  • Build advanced Excel dashboards, forecasting models, and automated reports using Power Query, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and Power Pivot.
  • Present workforce analytics and compensation recommendations to HR and executive leadership.
  • Partner with Finance, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Operations on strategic reports and working with large data sets to simply for workforce planning decisions.
  • Recommend process improvements and reporting automation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of compensation analysis experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing or a similarly complex hourly payroll environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, or similar tools.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS.
  • Experience with market pricing, salary surveys, compensation benchmarking, and internal equity analysis.
  • Knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and applicable regulations.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Experience supporting a publicly traded organization.
  • Knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act and Equal Pay Act.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Chinese, Spanish, or Vietnamese

Location & Work Environment

This is a full-time onsite position based at AOI's Sugar Land, Texas campus, a combined office, warehouse, and manufacturing environment. The role is primarily office-based and works closely with the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and HR partners across the business.

Typical business hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CT, with flexibility required during peak hiring periods and other business-critical windows.
