Description
What You'll Do As our Compensation & Benefits Manager, you'll partner with leaders across People & Culture, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and Operations to ensure our employees receive competitive compensation, outstanding benefits, and accurate payroll while maintaining compliance across multiple states.
In this role, you'll:
- Lead company-wide compensation strategy, salary structures, market pricing, and annual compensation planning
- Oversee employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, and voluntary benefits
- Manage multi-state payroll operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement
- Partner with executive leadership to provide reporting, analytics, and strategic recommendations
- Drive compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Build programs that help attract, engage, and retain exceptional talent
Compensation Administration & Strategy Lead and enhance our compensation programs by developing competitive pay strategies, conducting market analyses, maintaining salary structures, supporting annual compensation planning, and partnering with Talent Acquisition and leadership to ensure fair, competitive compensation practices.
Benefits & Retirement Administration Oversee our employee benefits and retirement programs, including vendor partnerships, open enrollment, benefits administration, and 401(k) oversight, while continually evaluating program effectiveness and enhancing the employee experience.
Payroll Operations Manage multi-state payroll operations to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Oversee payroll processing, tax compliance, reporting, payroll controls, and continuous process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
Compliance, Reporting & Analytics Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while providing meaningful reporting and analytics that support business decisions. Partner with Finance on payroll accounting, monitor regulatory changes, support audits, and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce risk.
What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, payroll, finance, or Total Rewards
- Experience managing multi-state payroll
- Strong knowledge of compensation strategy, salary administration, market pricing, and incentive programs
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism and integrity
