Full Job Description
Position Overview
The Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the organization's compensation strategy by analyzing market data, evaluating internal equity, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position partners closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and leadership to develop and maintain competitive and equitable compensation programs that attract and retain top talent in a healthcare environment.

Work Locations:

Lewis Road Administrative Building, Binghamton, NY Remote, Johnson City, NY 13790

There is more than one location associated with this position. This is either because there are multiple openings at different sites, or the successful candidate will be required to float across multiple UHS facilities. Your recruiter and hiring manager will clarify expectations during the interview process.

$40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Finance, or related field; CCP certification a plus

  • 3–5 years of experience in compensation analysis, preferably in a healthcare setting

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems (Workday is a plus)

  • Familiarity with compensation survey tools (e.g., Payfactors)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with job evaluation methodologies and salary structure design

  • Knowledge of healthcare job families and regulatory requirements

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
