If you are a seasoned compensation professional looking to make an impact in a rewarding industry, join our team! As a Compensation Analyst III you will lead the administration of compensation programs and drive strategic compensation initiatives. You will ensure the accuracy and competitiveness of compensation practices, conduct in-depth market analyses, and provide expert guidance on job evaluations and internal leveling. This role involves collaborating with HR and leadership teams to maintain effective and compliant compensation programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the administration of compensation programs, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Provide advanced analytical support for strategic compensation initiatives and projects. 
  • Ensure the accuracy and competitiveness of compensation policies and guidelines.
  • Conduct in-depth market analyses to assess competitiveness of base and total cash compensation.
  • Provide expert guidance on job evaluations, market pricing, and internal leveling.
  • Perform comprehensive audits on pay and bonuses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support compensation review cycles, including data validation, analytics, and reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain compensation reports, dashboards, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to enhance compensation practices and policies.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of annual pay statements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.  4+ years of experience in compensation analysis or a related role.
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in data analysis, critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including experience with pivot tables, v-lookups, and other advanced functions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt and work with a variety of situations, individuals, or groups

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.
  • Service Contract Act (SCA) knowledge and application.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with SQL or related query languages.

Essential Functions:

  •  Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
  •  Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
  •  Strong hand/finger dexterity for computer tasks.
  •  Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 20 pounds.
  •  May require occasional travel for training or meetings.
  •  Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
