What You Will AchieveAs part of the Comparative Medicine team, you will support the Research & Development site by managing a vivarium to deliver flawless animal care and welfare and will assure the quality of care and the animal facility environment is in compliance with local regulations and AAALAC International guidelines partnering with Research and Development Research Units and Partner lines to facilitate study support.

How You Will Achieve ItResponsible for development and implementation of appropriate quality assurance programs, planning and maintenance of operating budgets, purchase of capital equipment and supplies and effective management of physical resources within CM.
May be required to work under one of the following: The United States Department of Agriculture Animal Welfare Act and associated Regulations and Standards, the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, Good Laboratory Practices, Public Health Service Policy and/or AAALAC accreditation standards.
Qualifications
Must-Have
BS/BA with 5to 7 years experience OR MA/MBA/MS with 3 to 6 years experience OR PhD with <2 years experience
LATG certification required
Supervisory experience
Ability to demonstrate level of technical skills and abilities
Nice-to-Have

This is an Essential Personnel role:

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $99,200.00 to $165,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
