Our team has the privilege of representing Sanofi within the communities we serve, providing branded and unbranded education and connecting patients to appropriate resources, while upholding the Company's mission and values.

Community Relations & Education Manager (CoRe)

In this field-based hematology position, the Community Relations & Education Manager will provide branded and unbranded education to the hemophilia community and support patients and caregivers by reducing barriers to therapy. This role will collaborate closely with all cross functional partners including sales, marketing, patient support services and home office. You will be responsible for developing and executing territory business plans and successfully executing launch strategies to meet / exceed targets within your geographic territory.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Education and Patient Engagement
    • Engages with local hemophilia patient organizations to identify patient / family needs regarding education
    • Builds relationships within the community and represents Sanofi at local and national patient events
    • Provides therapy, wellness and lifestyle education to the community by conducting programs and engaging with families directly
  • Territory Management and Planning
  • Develops and maintains territory plans to identify local community education needs. Utilizes CRM to manage territory and record activities
  • Provides field insights into the creation of new strategies and tactics. Represents the patient's voice to the home office. Identifies new ways to support patients through:
    • Advisory boards
    • Feedback / brainstorming groups
    • Internal projects
    • Content development for materials & slide decks
  • Ensures close cross-functional collaboration with Case Managers, Sales, Marketing, Medical, Public Affairs and Market Access as appropriate to ensure consistent integrated implementation of strategies and tactics
  • Demonstrate ability to ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders, using the insights to position current customer needs appropriately and with a high sense of urgency.
  • Conduct formal and informal presentations and convey complex hematology clinical information fluently to the hemophilia community, in a professional, compliant, ethical and effective manner.
  • Demonstrates marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise based on thorough understanding of rigorous scientific principles and data, including mechanism of action, indications, efficacy, safety, etc. Provide key market insights and field feedback to home office.
  • Foster team effectiveness and accomplishment of shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience, and information between and amongst partners.
  • Ensures compliance with Sanofi policies


About You:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience educating patients and caregivers with rare or chronic conditions
  • Should reside within the geographic area of the assigned territory
  • Willingness and ability to work within and outside of traditional business hours (many hemophilia events may take place in the evenings and on weekends)
  • The ability to travel up to 80%
  • Valid driver's license


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated industry success or 10 years clinical experience such as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist and/or Social Worker
  • Hematology and launch experience
  • Language requirements: English required and Spanish preferred
  • Advanced degree in science, business, nursing
  • Industry experience
  • Experience working with specialty pharmacies

The salary range for this position is:
$100,500.00 - $145,166.66
