Full Job Description
About the Role:

Great buildings don't become great by accident. They're shaped by thousands of thoughtful interactions that make people feel welcomed, connected, and excited to come back.

As a Community Manager, you're responsible for bringing that experience to life every day. You own the programming, communications, and hospitality strategy for your office building: creating moments that strengthen community, deepen tenant engagement, and elevate the workplace experience.

This role blends creativity with operational excellence. You'll curate events and partnerships, manage communications across multiple channels, oversee budgets and logistics, and ensure every detail, from a welcome email to a lobby activation, reflects the quality of the building and the brand.

Just as importantly, you'll build relationships. You'll know your tenants, understand what matters to them, and use those insights to shape experiences that feel personal, relevant, and worth showing up for.

What You'll Do:

Community programming, marketing, and communications

  • Curate and execute a thoughtful calendar of tenant programming that reflects the building's identity, fosters community, and drives engagement.
  • Manage all aspects of community events, including concept development, budgeting, vendor management, onsite execution, and post-event reporting.
  • Own the building's marketing channels-including the tenant app, newsletter, digital displays, signage, and social content where applicable-to ensure communications are timely, engaging, and on brand.
  • Create compelling content that promotes events, highlights building amenities, celebrates tenant stories, and keeps the community informed.
  • Grow engagement with the tenant experience app through strong content, audience management, building notices, and curated local partnerships and perks.

Amenity management.

  • Oversee ordering, restocking, receiving, and inventory of amenity supplies.
  • Keep all amenity spaces spotless at all times.
  • Document and escalate maintenance and facilities issues through proper channels.
  • Maintain clean, organized supply closets.
  • Support leasing teams in showcasing building amenities.

Tenant relationships.

  • Build trusted relationships with tenants and create experiences that make the workplace feel more welcoming, connected, and valuable.
  • Meet regularly with tenant contacts to understand their needs and gather feedback.
  • Build relationships proactively throughout the building through everyday interactions.
  • Execute in-suite activations and personalized engagement opportunities where appropriate.
  • Deliver Surprise & Delight moments and consistently meet hospitality engagement standards.
  • Own the tenant onboarding experience so new people quickly understand everything the building has to offer.
  • Gather customer feedback through surveys and conversations, then develop action plans that improve the tenant experience.

Service culture.

  • Champion Industrious service standards and hospitality principles.
  • Model and deliver on any new hospitality standards.
  • Communicate and resolve issues confidently, empathetically, and professionally.

What You'll Need

To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of experience in community, hospitality, or customer facing work. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Community events or hospitality experience. You've designed and delivered tenant programs, events, or comparable hospitality work. You know what drives engagement.
  • Marketing Communications ability. You write clearly, adapt your tone to your audience, and can manage a content calendar or newsletter in a professional context.
  • Organizational discipline. You manage multiple programs and relationships simultaneously without letting details fall through.
  • Tenant relationship skills. You build trust quickly, follow through reliably, and make people feel genuinely cared for.
  • Comfort with digital tools. Experience with a tenant experience app or similar platform is a strong plus. You learn new tools quickly.
  • Prior experience with data visualization tools.
  • Broad knowledge of Marketing Research and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Understanding existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
